Weekend Activities....

Saturday started out pretty uneventful, we were supposed to be installing our hardwood floors, but being that we didn't get them last week, it made installing them a bit difficult, so Jimmy went to work as normal and i lounged around...as normal. Then we get a suprise phone call from our friends Jenn and John, they were in Texas for the weekend and wanted to know if we wanted to meet up for dinner. Of COURSE we did! So, Jimmy and i drove to Decatur (beautiful scenery!) and met John, Jenn and Jake at Casa Tora, i must say that as much as i love Joe T's, this was the best Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas i have had in Texas. MAN it was good! Then we tried to go to a place called Yesterday's so Jenn could fulfill her preggo craving of apple pie, but they had been closed for all of 5 minutes by the time we got there, so we went to Dairy Queen instead where they messed up my Blizzard by not have chocolate ice cream (um who does NOT have chocolate ice cream??) or Reese's Pieces. It was SO nice to see them again, although i may have left feeling like the biggest cow ever. Technically i am due after Jenn, but i had to have been twice as big, she looked glamorous and i looked uncomfortable, lol.

Then Sunday afternoon, i got Jimmy to install Ike's carseat! So cute, although driving into work this morning made me stop and think. I drove so much more carefully, i don't want people to think that i am driving like a maniac with my kid in a car seat! lol Also, i felt a little bit like a poser driving around with a car seat and no kid, oh well, he'll be here soon enough!!!
