I must learn that trick, cause now it's only 2 people that have the ability to do that to Jimmy, his mom and now Derek.
Jimmy let me know he will not being going with me to today's u/s because he feels "guilty leaving Derek alone all the time". Um, hello!? Piss poor timing if you ask me, skip a stooopid MW appt, don't skip an u/s that i could really use your support on...moron....Sorry had to vent.
::shakes head disbelievingly at feeling guilty for Derek, but not about ditching wife:

I agree I don't think this is a good time to not go...This is an important U/S like the MOST important. Plus you need his support either way...Well I hope everything goes good..you are in our prayers!!!!
Jimmy probably is realizing that once the baby is born he will be a little more absent or absent-minded at work. He's probably just trying to put in some credit with his co-worker now so that he can be with you when you really need it. Some midwife/US appointments are more important than others but, I promise no man on the planet knows the difference (well maybe the male obgyn's) Maybe you can sit down with Jimmy and discuss which appointments you need his support on and which ones he can skip.
