Yesterday was Super Saturday at church, there were LOTS of activities and i had signed up to do 3 of them, gourmet caramel apples, cookie bouquet, and nativity hand puppets. I still have to make my hand puppets (i am hoping they are done by Christmas, but next Christmas wouldn't be too bad either, lol). My friend Loralee taught us how to make the gourmet caramel apples, oh my word! She also has the No Fuss Fabulous website that i frequent which has SO many awesome ideas. I don't know how she does it and still looks absolutely fabulous, but i aspire to be her, lol. She gave us instructions on how to make caramel (who knew you could MAKE caramel? I also thought it came in little square wrapped pieces, lol), and then make them beautiful, check out her blog if you want to make them yourself (link on the right). My friend Becky taught us the cookie bouquet, which i will be honest the only reason i signed up to learn is so i could eat some more of Becky's awesome cookies, i could care less about making them pretty, i just wanna eat em! I took a picture so i could have proof that the apples and cookies were in deed for Jimmy (although i might start noshing on some yumminess in a minute).
I had a wonderful time just being out and it was better because i felt like i got to know my blog/church "friends" a little better. Hopefully we can be just as good of friends in real life :)

It looks like you did a great job on both of them.
Rhi,
You are so sweet! I LOVED seeing you. It was so fun. And don't even get me started on little Ike. I am in love with him. Please call me whenever to tend! Or just come over and we'll make more goodies together!
Those look so fabulous! Ours is this Saturday, I am so excited, I'd love to see the puppets.
