I figured i should update because there will be a lot going in the next several days and i honestly don't know when i'll have a chance to come back to the office to do this later.
Spoke with Cherie yesterday, the 6am dose yesterday did nothing and Cherie thinks it's time to let my body rest. So instead of going into the Birth Center today, she rescheduled my appt for Tuesday 8:45am, then we will discuss a new plan of action. No clue what that means, but honestly i've made it this far and at this point i don't care if he IS a 10 pd baby. I really just don't care anymore, it'll happen when it'll happen and my obsessing over it won't change anything.
My real mom comes in tomorrow, as does Hurricane Ike, lol. My real mom and i have slowly been rebuilding our relationship the past couple years (now that she has been diagnosed with BiPolar Disorder and is medicated, it makes it easier for everyone). Suprisingly i am looking foward to this visit from her, but honestly i am VERY apprehensive about what the mood will be like when my "mom" Pat comes in on the 21st. It makes me want to throw up even thinking of it right now. Oh well, i guess that bridge will be crossed when we get there.
Hurricane Ike is expected to hit the Galveston area we are a good deal away from Galveston (like comparing Naples to St. Augustine or something), but Hurricane Ike is expected to head our way and POSSIBLY bring Tropical Storm force winds and rain. Although honestly i've seen wind storms out here that trump a TS, so we are not looking at this as a bad thing, but as a blessing of rain and cooler temps! Also, the lowered pressure from Hurricane Ike, might help our Ike decide to vacate, one can have a small amount of hope right?
So that is all, it has been a VERY long week and i look foward to being lazy and resting because i am emotionally exhausted and need a break from Baby Ike/Labor talk. :)
***Good news is that if my Ike DOESN'T come out, i can go to Amy's Twilight Party Saturday night!!!!

REST REST REST....you need it!!!!! I hope your visit with your mom is ral nice and you have a great time. Just take it one day at a time and don't get stressed.
I hope that the tropical storm causes some cool weather your way it would be nice.

haha..that makes me laugh a bit...Hurricane Ike helps brings out baby Ike. Too funny! That's something you can tell him about when he gets older! I wanna go to a Twilight Party!!! I think I will just have to have one myself. Ike will be here soon! I can't wait to see pics!!!
