Meanie Midwife!
Yesterday was NOT a good day. I was so excited to go to the MW appt because i get to hear Ike again, well this time because i gained 6 pounds in a month, i was lectured for quite some time before i could hear Ike's heartbeat. I admit, i bawled like a baby, big fat preggo tears streaming down my face as she repeatedly told me my diet is not what it should be and no more cereal for breakfast. I think what frustrates me the most is when reading all thebooks, etc i am still below what my weight gain should be and for the month i gained about average (1.5 pds a week). So Jimmy has now added food nazi to his title of money nazi. Plus the recommended meal plan she gave me (started this morning) i feel like i am going to DIE i am so flippin hungry. No fair no fair no fair!

whoa! I have never been to a midwife so I can't say I know what you are feeling...hope that you have a better day, and better appointment next time!
Oh Rhi, are you sure you love this woman? My doc prepped me ahead of time even and told me I would swell and gain more weight in the summer and that it would be expected. It shouldn't be a shocker. It's not like you're getting fat, good grief! 1.5 pounds a week is excellent!
