So in keeping with the hidden blessings in every situation i am grateful for fire wood, lol. I am also REALLY grateful that this tree did not land on a car or the roof.
We didn't even think there was supposed to be any storms last night, but around 8pm a rather loud thunderclap disrupted my bath and freaked out the kitties. I finished my bath rather quickly and went outside to look. It wasn't even raining! Then about 10 minutes later all heck broke loose. The rain came and brought some marble sized hail. I called Jimmy (he was at YM) and told him kindly to get his coolie home!
He pulls up to the house and tells me to check out the front yard. Niiiiiccceee...
Jimmy woke up this morning and got straight to work with the saws all, hacking away at the fallen trunk/branches.
Thank you Heavenly Father for fire wood.....
