We went to our closing yesterday in Southlake. It was much quicker than we anticipated. We thought it would take the hours that everyone had warned us about, but nope less than an hour start to finish. Suprisingly enough neither of us felt our life was being signed away, lol. We had to wait almost 2 hours for funding however, so we could get our keys!
We went to our new house walked around a bit and went to Sears to pick out our appliances. SOOOO nice! We went with the ginormous refrigerator with french doors and the freezer on the bottom, it had a water and an ice dispenser in the door, so Jimmy was quite pleased. I got a double oven and glass cooktop and a frontloading washer and dryer, plus we are getting 20% back with rebates! Yipee! Thank you thank you thank you MIL for talking to your son! lol
