We had some gorgeous weather and some not so great weather. I got Ike outside in the freezing cold and took a couple pics of him in the leaves in his "Randy" suit, lol. At bathtime i have had lots of fun making fauxhawks outta Ike's hair.
I have been in the kitchen crazy busy making Christmas treats. Times are predictably tight so instead of buying any Christmas gifts, we decided to make them (okay, i made them, Jimmy gave me the $ necessary to make the gifts). I made Thinmint cookies for his work customers and Christmas cards which took WAY too much time (60 boxes of cookies and 60 homemade cards takes a looooong time), i made half of our personal Christmas cards but i have since given up because i would like to mail them tomorrow and i simply don't have time to finish them, so storebought cards are finally going in the mail tomorrow, lol. Oh well, i guess i just have a head start for next year! I made truffles for our friends at church and neighbors, i made necklaces for sister and sisters in law (and my Sydney-bean!), blankets for brothers and brothers in law, and scrapbooks for all grandparents. I am friggin tired!
My "mom" and Larry came out on Tuesday. Pat and i tried to get Ike to see Santa, but the line was 2 HOURS long, soooo not gonna make my 2 month old wait for 2 hours when he has no clue what it going on in the first place. I did see Santa trying to eat lunch at Target and asked if he could hold Ike and let me take a picture, so i got a Santa and Ike pic, lol.
Christmas was wonderful, although it was hard for me to get into the spirit of everything. It just came too quickly. We decided to grill steaks and lobster tails ILO ham and turkey. I still got my sweet potato casserole thought! I got a watch from Santa! lol I had Jimmy take a long good look at Jenni's so he could get some sort of idea of what i wanted, i like mine, it's pretty and pink :).
I am having a hard time emotionally. I cry ALL the time and i'm just feeling very alone and unloved. However at my follow up appt, the Dr. said that these emotions are normal, so i will just continue to cry and hope that these hormones will leave my body sooner rather than later cause this really sucks.

Well if it makes you feel any better, you planed an awesome CISCO Christmas party!
Even the leftovers were delicious.
I should have taken pictures! Totally spaced on that one. Derek helped with the "party", lol. Sushi and Habachi? Both of us were quite satisfied with that plan :) Who needs Jimmy? Oh right he controls the credit card, lol.
Hang in there Rhi! Postpartum depression sucks so bad, but it does pass eventually.
