Stole this from a Nestie blog:
Recently, a website called Very Good Taste started an internet frenzy with a list called "The Omnivore's Hundred", which listed 100 foods which "every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life." How many have you tried? If you'd like, feel free to follow the same guidelines:
Here’s what I want you to do:
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten (i colored mine purple as well).
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating (mine are in Italics).
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.
***Some of these i honestly have no clue what they are, so i'm not crossing them off, but if you know what they are, please tell me so i can decide if it's gonna be gross or not, lol. Also, anything alcoholic that i haven't had in the past will obviously not be tried by me in the future and that's why those are crossed off :)

Ha - these are some of my favorite foods!
Borscht - beets (polish?)
Baba Ghanoush - eggplant (mediteranian)
Aloo Gobi - amazing! Indian, cauliflower and potatoes
Epoisses - cheese (french)
Pork Buns - chinese - like dumplings
Scott Bonnet is just a chili pepper
A Lassi is a yogurt based drink - indian too, sooo good
Oxtail is from all over - the English do oxtail soup
Foie Gras you would know if you had - it's fattened livers
Fugu - yeah, no. it's pufferfish, dangerous.
Chicken tikka masala - indian, super yum
Paneer - indian cheese - muttar paneer is pees and cheese - sounds weird but it's my favorite food!
Spaetzle - like little dough balls. Hungarian I think.
Poutine - OH YUM - fries with grazy and cheese curds - a la Canada
Carob Chips - it's a bean but used to sub for chocolate a lot.
Haggis - DEF NOT ICE CREAM - it's stuffed intesines or gross sausage - see #70 - same thing
Absinthe - hard core alcohol. Picasso loves this stuff
Pocky - ha - its a pretxel stick, sans salt basically and dipped in chocolate. Totally addictive.
Tom Yum - soup, Thai, yum, yum, yum - coconut milk based.
Kobe is a very wonderful kind of beef - japanese, typically
And now I realize I AM a total foodie! You should totally try some of this stuff - super good!
