Just got back from appt. I made progress, membranes stripped and another dose of Cytotec. Was told to take another dose of Cytotec at 6am, call if i go into active labor or if nothing really happening, call around 9am to take 2nd dose, if still nothing happening an hour later, i am not 100% sure, but i believe what she said was i would go back in (bring Jimmy) and Cherie would break my water. They just want to see more progress before they break my water. So yet again, my hopes are up and i am on edge. Not too sure if God likes Ike or me, but i figure that ant and all prayers help, right? lol
**Update: Cherie just called, here are the following changes :
1- Not taking 2nd dose of Cytotec at home tomorrow, she doesn't think my body responds to the oral doses, so i will be going BACK to the Birth Center tomorrow morning. Joy.
2- Cherie will not even discuss breaking my water until the 8th (did Jimmy pay her off???), no way no how. Basically my body has been extremely resistant to intervention, if they were to break my water before my body is ready (ie less than 4cm dilated) than they would almost assuredly cause me to have a c/s due to lack of progression.

So we are hoping tomorrow that IKE will finally want to come out. Show him the Boobs again!!!!!!!
Trust me you are better off how you are in the way that you could be in the hospital trying to get labor induced and then just end up with a c/s. I was induced and in labor for 30 hours. Granted I really didn't mind it at all. But it is harder the first time for most all women. My body didn't want to give Jaelyn up either and Jaelyn really was fine not coming out at all it seemed. She flipped sunny side up anyway so it didn't matter, I was getting a c/s. I only got 90% effaced and 2 cm was the biggest I got. Anyway, just be glad that you probably won't be in labor as long on the route you are going it seems. And once they break your water you are stuck, you will not be able to get up to go to the bathroom! It's a great experience though!! I am really excited for you!!! =)
