Catch Up and Bath Time!

Sorry it's been a little difficult for me to post as much as i used to not because of Ike, but because Pat was here (for 3 weeks) and well..because. So...anyway, now i figure i'll be able to post a little more, still not as much as before, but more than once a week for sure!

Ike is growing crazy fast! He's 3 1/2 weeks already and i am 100% positive he's at least 10 pounds, i won't know officially until his appt in Dec though. Nursing is HARD! A LOT harder than i could have imagined, but i'm getting better at it and hopefully will feel confident enough to go to church soon without flashing all the women in the mother's room. Infact, if it weren't for the weight loss factor i honestly think that i would have begged Jimmy to start Ike on formula already. He has no real routine yet, which is hard for my anal retentive personality, but hopefully in the month(s) to come things will become a bit more regular. He DID sleep for 4 hours straight last night, nursed and then slept another 3 hours, so i feel like SOME progress has been made.

We are in the process of deciding if we are going to FL for Thanksgiving. So far, it looks like we are. I am definitely not looking foward to the hassle that it will be, but i know that the benefits of seeing friends and family will be worth it.

Now onto cutesy Ike stuff! Here's a few pics of his first bath. How cute is my kid! I swear he is the cutest baby i have ever laid eyes on, lol. First is his "jazz" hands, he has them ALL the time, lol, the 2nd is just the cute bath pic, the 3rd is his "do", his hair stands straight up when it dries so i try to faux hawk it so it looks like it was on purpose.
