Exciting Sunday!

Typically our Sundays are very relaxing, which is why it is my favorite day of the week, and while yesterday was still a relaxing day, several things happened to make it exciting.
We were sitting in sacrement meeting singing our opening hymn when i feeling this little pounding right beside my belly button, then a couple seconds later it moved to the other side. I burst into tears immediately because it had hit me that i was feeling our little one (who's shaping up to be not so little)! Jimmy got pretty teary eyed and then called the baby a parasite (something that i hated in the beginning, but now realize just how true that association is, lol). Turns out that Ike/Lily is going to be a pretty active kid if his/her movements mean anything!
Then we got home and Jimmy put the crib together! It kinda hit both of us once it was finished that this is becoming pretty real, lol. There will be a baby in that crib soon. It definitely humbles me. I'm starting to realize now more than ever that i need to make even more effort to walk on the right path to return to Heavenly Father. Pretty soon, we will have someone who is going to be looking to us to help him/her get and stay on that path as well.

Lastly, i just had to take a picture because my kitties are so friggin cute! Abel and Mo got all snuggly on the sofa.

How fun that you are starting to get things set up! I did everything way early, so the last trimester when everything was done, I could just relax and enjoy, and wait...wait...wait!

So cute! It is so fun to feel the baby for the first time and know that they are real. I can hardly wait till this Thursday. I haven't been keeping track of my weeks so I look to you for that. Am I really 17 weeks?! Crazy.

It is so exciting to experience all these firsts. There is nothing like setting up the nursery to make everything seem real. I really like the baby bedding you picked out.
