We had so much fun Saturday looking at the different houses (4 total) that we had marked "favorites". I am so glad that i have even the smallest amount of logic that i do. The first house we went to was my absolute favorite, on paper, it was perfect. However, after checking out the house, i realize that while it would take very little effort on my part to obtain the house (Jimmy seriously doesn't care all that much), the house itself IS perfect, but the neighborhood has got to go. I feel like such a big girl turning down something i really want because i know it's not what's best for us. ::stepping down from pedestal now::
We did however find a house in a perfect neighborhood, it just needs a little work for the house to be perfect for us. This house is straight out of Bachelor Magazine from the 1960's! lol Sunken living room, baby blue carpet, master suite (including sitting room for guests? In the BEDROOM?!?! lol), carpeted bathroom and baby blue tiled guest bathroom, lol. Not exactly our dream house, but really just some cosmetic stuff that is fixable at some point. We will continue to look though.
