Happy Valentines Day

Jimmy and i decided that we would exchange our gifts last night because the mornings are so NOT GOOD for me. I was very excited because i had gotten Jim his favorite candies SUPERSIZED, lol. I mean a 5 pound bag of peanut M&M's and the like, plus i went to the autoparts store and bought him some stuff that Derek said he would like and would be cheap. He was very suprised and i was so pleased with myself for suprising him.

Jimmy TOTALLY suprised me by making me a card, not just a sheet of copier paper with a heart, but he actually went into my craft room and used some stamps and markers! He wrote me a poem, but of course as Jimmy's poems go, they are funny, but not to be repeated in polite company, lol. I also received a beautiful necklace, it's a small heart outlined in pink rubies and has a couple tiny little white diamonds that hold the heart in place. So dainty and very girlie. I love watching his face when he buys me things, he's so proud of himself and he does a great job. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have a husband that enjoys spoiling me so much.

Tonight we will get some steaks and grill them for a nice romantic Valentine Dinner. I just didn't see the point of going out to eat when it'll be so expensive and it will take FOREVER to get a seat. So i sugguested having a nice yummy heck of a lot cheaper dinner at home!

I'm glad you enabled comments on your blog. If you want you can make it so that the comments won't appear until you approve them. I know it's a private blog, but if you decide you want to see the comments before everyone else does, it is an option. It sounds like you guys are in for a great Valentine's day. Ren is sick again so we decided we'll have our Valentine's day dinner (& maybe a movie) next weekend so we don't risk getting the babysitter sick. We decided not to exchange gifts since we bought an HDTV for Christmas and we didn't want to spend any more money. We are just making each other cards.
