Ike got his first busted lip yesterday :o( I was in the kitchen and i hear ike start screaming and crying. I run to the living room and found ike surrounded by DVDs and blood all over his face. It took a second to realize that it was his lip bleeding and nothing else (i think he got his lip caught in the DVD case), i cleaned him up, gave him a sippy with ice and water and he was happy as could be less than 5 minutes later. I, however, was a total wreck. I went to my bathroom and cried for a bit.
Then, ike decided to face plant on the new kitchen floor, yup another bloody mess. Then he climbed on the sofa and fell on the speaker and you guessed it, more blood. THEN when he went down for his nap, he whacks his face on the crib, more blood. By the speaker incident i had had enough of seeing blood coming from my baby and just handed him off to Jimmy to deal with.
Ugh, i hated seeing blood on my baby, the suckiest feeling.

A couple of years from now, you'll just sigh and say, "Is it bleeding?" lol! Poor Ike! Give him an open-mouthed slobbery kiss from his buddy Ean. :)
Nothing Luke does surprises me anymore (accident wise)...I just wonder how he gets bruises, scratches, owies, etc...!
It's always scary when their mouth starts bleeding because it's hard to tell where the source of all the blood is.
Oh no!!! well at least you know that he is a trouper. It still doesn't make it any better though. I am not looking forward to the scraped knees.
